Quad Parts

The current selection of racing quadcopters are all very durable and can absorb quite a bit of crash punishment. There is one area of almost all quad designs that becomes a point of failure, and that’s the video antenna sticking out of the machine just asking to be snapped off, or sheared off, or bent in to a pretzel. It can be quite frustrating to have a day of racing end prematurely due to a broken antenna.

Trueblood engineering has a solution to this problem with our patent pending flexible antenna mount. This mount is made using the same proven high strength material that has been working in our RC Helicopter rotor heads for the past 10 years. This is not a 3D printed part, it is custom molded to be superior in its chemical composition.

Being flexible isn’t the only design consideration Trueblood Engineering took when creating this revolutionary part. The flex provided by the mount is a perfect balance between absorbing energy in a crash, and maintaining position while in flight. A poorly designed mount has the potential to generate oscillating inputs into the sensitive flight controller. This is not a problem with the Trueblood design.

To prolong the life of your video antenna, and extend the race hard without worry mentality, the Trueblood Engineering Quad Flex Antenna Mount needs to be on your racing machine

  • Head Dampers

The engineering of modern RC helicopters has enabled these machines to do tremendous acrobatics. When we are flying these new high performance machines, there is tremendous stress placed on the components, specifically the rotor head.

The rotor head is comprosed of the head block, the blades and the spindle, and a small rubber piece called the damper. The dampers job is to keep the bladed "connected" to the main shaft while allowing a bit of "give" to eliminate violent shakes and vibration.

TBE Dampers are HIGH quality, durable and made for many common high performance helicopters. Dont let your top notch setup suffer from a set of stock dampers that will not perform to the level our machines require.

  • Swashplate Levelers

The swashplate of a modern RC helicopters is truly fascinating. There is so much force and rotation going on that it is almost unbelievable that it stays intact during flight.

With modern Flybarless Controllers, it may be tempting to allow the FBL controller to correct for some issues that may not be mechanically perfect. That is a common problem with many machines, and no matter how good a FBL controller it should not be expected to fly properly with a less than perfect mechanicatl setup.

That is why every machine should be set up with a perfectly level swashplate before finalizing collective pitch and cyclic pitch ranges. The Trueblood Engineering levelers are manufactured to the highest tolerances and will assure maximum accuracy during setup.
